Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking:

Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery that involves the forceful abduction, transportation, harboring, or exploitation of individuals for various purposes, including forced labor, sexual exploitation, and even organ harvesting. This crime has impacted millions of individuals across the world.  It is time to put an end to human trafficking.

Types of Human Trafficking

  • Sex Trafficking: Victims are manipulated or forced into the commercial sex trade against their will.
  • Labor Trafficking: Individuals are coerced into working under inhumane conditions, often for little to no pay.
  • Debt Bondage: This involves compelling a person to work to pay off a debt with virtually no control over their labor conditions or the debt terms.
  • Organ Trafficking: It involves trafficking people to use their organs without consent, which is often a less noted type of human trafficking.
